Rousseaux (Sixth String Quartet, 2016). World premiere by the Blair String Quartet, March 24, 2017, Ingram Hall, Blair School of Music. Each movement belongs to a different Rousseau—Jean-Jacques, Théodore, and Henri—and the ways they (respectively) defined, fulfilled, and departed from the Romantic spirit.
